\A working woman's holiday/Explaining the process of trying on a wedding dress and what you need!

Today I accompanied a working woman who is an Apple Watch user (Series 5/38mm user) on a day when she was trying on a dress for her wedding.
We will introduce you to the process of choosing a dress.

This time, we are having a restaurant wedding. We are planning to hold the wedding at Ristorante Osawa, an Italian restaurant in Musashikoganei.

The first step in preparing for your wedding! Choosing your dress

Once the wedding venue has been decided, the first thing to do is to decide on the attire. Usually, people decide on the attire 6 months to 3 months before the wedding.

Dress shops often have affiliations with wedding venues, and it is said that the average number of dress fittings is about three.

This time, we visited the wedding salon "Wedding Coordination Salon M・AI・M (Mime)", which is an affiliated dress salon of Ristorante Osawa. Although they also have salons in Ginza and Karuizawa, we visited their Ogikubo salon this time.

The process of choosing a dress
1) Make a reservation to try on the item
First, make a reservation in advance for a fitting at an affiliated salon or your favorite dress salon. If you are using a salon affiliated with the venue, the wedding planner may be able to adjust the schedule for you, so be sure to consult with them.

In addition to those who go to try on wedding dresses with their groomsmen, some brides go with friends, siblings, or parents because they want to hear opinions from someone of the same gender.

2) Picture the dress you want to wear in advance
There are so many different types and sizes of dresses available at wedding salons. There is a limit to the number of dresses you can try on in one day, so it's best to have a rough idea of what you want first.

In addition to deciding whether you want Japanese or Western-style clothing, it's a good idea to collect images of dresses you think would be nice, including what kind of lines and fabric you would like, and whether you'll be changing the color.
Make sure you know your regular clothing size by the number.

It's even better if you also consider whether the dress you want to wear will match the atmosphere of the venue.

3) On the day of trying on the dress When you arrive at the salon, you will first fill out the necessary information on the interview sheet. After that, you will try on several dresses while actually looking at them and receiving explanations about them.

It is difficult to put on a wedding dress by yourself, so you will need to get help from the staff, and you will only be able to try on several dresses at a time.

Since you will likely visit the salon several times to choose your one and only dress, be sure to take plenty of photos so you can compare them.

In addition to taking a full-body photo from the front, it is also useful to take photos of the bust, side, back, waist area, the texture of the dress fabric, as well as any accessories you will be wearing on the day and a two-shot photo of you and the groom's tuxedo for comparison.

Once you have decided on the dress, you can choose accessories such as shoes and accessories. Finally, you can check the rental status of the dress for the day and make a reservation.

There is often some time between deciding on the dress and actually wearing it on the occasion, so as the ceremony approaches, people often make preparations just as if it were the actual occasion, try them on for a final time, and then wait until the day comes.

4) What to bring when trying on dresses <br>The day you choose your wedding dress is a once in a lifetime event. Since you will be searching for that one special dress, here are some things you should bring with you when trying on a dress.

·stockings
- Hair clips (you can easily create the illusion of putting your hair up)
・Accessories and jewelry to wear on the day
・Image of the venue
・Photo of the wedding dress you want

・Sweat wipes ・Camera or selfie stick (smartphones are OK too!)
